We hung out then flew back home from Cali. When Jay and I have a little extra time, we hunt down gardens and beautiful places to walk and be. This landed us at the Conejo Valley Botanical Garden.
We took in all the beauty, the native plants, trees and flowers. We were inspired by nature and by the hard work of many volunteers that make someplace like this possible. Will places like this continue to survive in the future as we all dive into our devices all the time? I hope so.
On Sunday, we did an Enneagram event with a local author that's written a book on the topic. I'm still figuring out what I am, but it feels good to be taking a dive into this topic. I don't feel I'm quite ready yet to understand what it all means, but I'm excited to learn. I don't feel super great for some reason. Maybe I picked something up from the trip. I'm glad I forced myself to go.
