Strong Women

We had group tonight at our house, and I tried a new beef stroganoff recipe. Everyone loved it, and I loved having people over. Doesn't happen as much as it used to.

Watched an interview with Lady Di today. She made these comments about women:

"I think every strong woman in history has had to walk down a similar path. It's the strength that causes the confusion and the fear. Why is she strong? Where does she get it from? Where is she taking it? Where is she going to use it?"

I was struck by that, by how she'd come to these conclusions about herself and other women.

I don't know how I'm managing my strength. I know I have it, many strengths. So much of this depression has been about deciding if I am strong and how am I strong. Can I survive this? Can I recover and live a vibrant life, maybe for the first time?

RIP, Lady Di. We still need your wisdom.
