I don’t even know how to write about all that’s happening. Maybe I need to start speaking on a microphone or recording conversations. I feel there is so much coming together and processed these days after all these years.

AlAnon: the difference between honor and respect. Honor can be assigned you based on your role in life. Respect is earned. A relationship is earned. I’ll be forever grateful for the AlAnon member that shared that this evening. The distinction really helped me feel better about how I’m handling my parents.
