18 Week 33

This was a good week for making small forward progress. I'm feeling I am getting a better sense of what health looks like for me and then trying to stick to that. These seem like momentous steps. Health? Unattainable for me a few years ago.

Trip to Seattle was good. Always hard to see healthier folks however when you're dealing with so much at home.

Arriving home, was made aware of more unhealth in some extended family members. Had already realized I was under the window so went out with a couple to a live concert and then for a drink. That was a smart decision. Got out of my head and realized I can do little to make this one situation better. Just am in the waiting room so to speak. Yeah, I like that. Being in the waiting room, just in the patient room, the operating room, etc. Being present is a big deal, so I'll try and continue to do that. There are a few where I need to be in the operating room, consulting with the doctor. Not very many though.

Really good talks the last few weeks with Jay. We are making progress as we see how we've impacted each other and what healing individually will look like as our marriage and partnership also heals. Herky-jerky but forward.

Highlights:

- Health: running every other day, off-day stretching/yoga, stretching neck again for TMJ, low-back pain much better, eating veggies, getting some recipes going slowly and cooking a bit to have things ready, a little grocery shopping for a few things I know now that I like and will eat, not much throwing away, fridge emptier as eat more from garden
