17 Week 15

The Trinity conference obviously stirred up many thoughts related to topics that were discussed. Beliefs about myself, my life, my things. The ability to live in the present. The ability to understand myself and my thoughts. The ability to continue this path of transformation from the brainwashing I had to a new way of thinking and seeing. The practices that will undergird that change.

Yep, big stuff.

We spent some time this weekend with a few friends and went to church on Easter for the first time in two years. It wasn't horrible, and it wasn't amazing which I guess is adequate. We had breakfast with Jay's mom and sent photos back and forth with the kids as we ate brunch in different cities.

I was touched in several ways by the service and church community, and realized what I've been missing, there are elements of that in other communities. They do a dinner every Tuesday evening for people in the community that need a meal. That's pretty amazing.
