18 Week 20

Highlights:

- Feeling a sense of hope and change in the Marriage. Gained and practiced additional tools and attitudes that contribute to a sense that we're going to make it. The ring seems a tangible symbol of a hoped-for next stage of life

- Continued work on detaching with love from people that I love but need more space from.

- Consistent planning and executing on daily work, projects and writing. Feeling more organized, disciplined and have the energy and focus for it. In the last few years, even if I'd get a burst of energy, the focus wouldn't be there.

- Moving ahead on a big project, the garden. Had dirt delivered and within two days, it was all in the garden. 2 cubic yards takes some time to move. Didn't let it sit there for days. Had this as a project for the week and got it done. Less distracting-type activities.

- Made headway helping with Mom's issues and trying to marshall allies to assist with their decline. Met with siblings to discuss their situation and continue to keep those relationships positive even though the situation is stressful and we have a blended family.

- Took a color class and spent four hours lost in color exercises and ideas. Renewed desire for creativity and engagement.

Next week:

- Burned my foot so lost momentum on projects at the end of the week. Get back and see where I'm at especially with wedding planning and writing.

- Stay focused on spiritual practices. Don't let those slip at all. More than ever, I have to stay calm and centered.

- Reevaluate book project and see if can do anything this week to poke at that a little bit.
