Bells and Whistles

I checked into my little AirBB off of Melrose yesterday and today, went to the first day of the Rob Bell Something to Say workshop held at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club.

The focus is learning more about the art of communicating and specifically, to workshop an idea or project you're working on.

The workshop was held in the Comedy Lab, a smaller room with cafe tables and chairs. There are about 30-40 of us here for the two-day event.

I met some very interesting people with all kinds of crazy and fantastically creative projects underway. I loved hearing Rob's take on everyone's project and just being in a room full of creative, engaging people.

We had dinner at famous seafood place called Connie and Ted's. Lots of walking and being generally energized by my step of independence and adventure toward a possible side gig in writing.
